Ginger
In January of 2018 my wife and I decided that is was okay for me to get a dog. I scoured the internet and found my dog listed on an animal rescue website. Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group.
On January 20th 2018 we adopted my dog Ginger.
Homeward Bound received Ginger from a kill shelter in Memphis Tennessee where she ended up by no fault of her own.
Ginger’s approx. birthdate is 10/10/14.
Ginger is a 63 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever/Pitbull Mix
She has a great temperament and has proven herself extremely loyal to me. She is a great dog and her personality is a good match to me and the rest of the family.
Felix, Milo, Spooky, & Scooter
The Cats
Felix is our old man of the cat family. We got Felix when he was very young during the middle of a blizzard we drove to the Animal Shelter and got him. Felix is the Black and White Cat. Milo, also a rescue, came next and he is the orange cat. Milo really likes my middle daughter and when she is around he really sticks to her. Spooky, also a rescue, the solid black cat is madly in love with Felix. Felix could take it or leave it. Scooter was a cat that I rescued out of the middle of the road. Scooter is a good cat and has turned out to be a very beautiful cat. Scooter definitely has some Maine Coon in him somewhere.
